The bounce technique is used when the urges arises for example when you see an attractive lady or your crush which may trigger a relapse or so see something on the Tv which arouses you. Instantly in your mind say ‘Bounce’ look at something else or practice mindfulness.

6. URGE SURFING

Urge surfing is integral in this case as this allows you to let your urges pass through by simply noticing which can be one by visualizing a ‘Wave’ or think to yourself that there is nothing found in this craving no excitement, no joy.

7. KNOW YOUR TRIGGERS

This is crucial by, this maybe realising what has thrown you off in the past of for example if you get triggered when watching certain types of films or model on instagram then don’t view them. Also know what time of day you are most likely to relapse. Then take actions against such as keeping of digital devices.

What you need to do throughout the day is visualise your routine which you have and then you will be able to highlight potential relapses for example you release that you have a half an hour break with nothing to do. So the approach is to be careful and make decision or preparations.
