No, that’s a myth.

I met a guy who used to get wet dreams when he used to watch porn regularly but now since he started nofap, he is not meeting nightfall as much as he used to.

So, just blaming nofap for this, is not 100% true.

Many factors cause nightfall or wet dreams.

These are the factors mentioned below that may cause someone “Nightfall”

  • Watching too much porn.
  • Thinking about porn and sex all the time.
  • Sleeping on your stomach.
  • Tension.

Why I am saying that nofap doesn’t cause nightfall?

Nofap stops you from watching porn and porn is one of the biggest causes of nightfall.

Practicing nofap slowly eliminates the thrust of porn and provides you time to interact with other things.

Porn also motivates you to masturbate excessively and that causes tension, depression, and anxiety.

I think nightfall is better than tensin, depression, and anxiety. I have been practicing nofap for a long time now but I hardly met any wet dream or nightfall that is because I don’t think about sex, porn, and masturbation all the time.

The less you think about all those dirty stuff, the fewer chances will be there to meet a wet dream.

It is really hard to not think about sex when it’s your initial days of nofap. However, there are many ways available that you can do to shift your brain from sex and focus on productiveness.

But it is not that easy to instantly shift your brain from porn to reading books, working on a project, or doing something productive, you have to make your brain strong enough so it doesn’t give a shit about porn and starts working on pending projects, it won’t gonna happen quickly, it will take time.

In my case, it took more than a month. If you can stay on nofap for that long (more than a month), then you should be able to pass 90 days as well.

The first month is always going to be the most difficult one. If you can pass one month, you’ll find out that you are thinking less about porn and masturbation.

That happens because your brain will slowly replace porn and masturbation with new information that you will gather while on nofap.

It will make you more sensible and help you realize, how crucial your time is.

I have made a list by gathering information from trusted sources. If you will apply these habits then I am sure you want gonna get wet dreams. I am using these techniques mentioned below to maximize the benefits of nofap.

Meditation Always Going To Be Number One

Are You Sleeping On Your Stomach?

This sleeping position may cause nightfall. According to a study by Psycnet, sleeping on the stomach makes it more likely the person will encounter a sexual dream.

However, I have only found one piece of evidence, more research is required to prove that this sleeping position causes nightfall.

If you love sleeping like this then it’s time to try a new sleeping position. There are some sleeping positions present that are beneficial for health.


Fetal Sleeping Position

According to the National Sleep Foundation, the fetal position has many benefits. Not only is it excellent for lower back pain, sleeping in the fetal position can help reduce snoring.

Sleeping On Your Side

 Sleeping on your side is pretty good for you, especially if you’re sleeping on your left side. Not only can it help reduce snoring, but it’s also great for your digestion and might even reduce heartburn.

Flat On Your Back

While it might not be the most common sleep position, sleeping on your back does provide the most health benefits. Not only does it make it easiest to preserve your spine, but it can also help reduce hip and knee pain.

As the Cleveland Clinic describes, sleeping on your back uses gravity to keep your body in an even alignment over your spine, which can help decrease any unnecessary pressure on your back or joints.

    1. No. We encounter such pictures while using Instagram and other social media, so we can’t break out the streak just because we looked at a bikini pic. Only watching porn and masturbating counts as a relapse.
